January 19th, 2012 Day 19 of 366 Plato is one of my favorite philosophers, while he wrote mainly dialogues depicting philosophies through a character named Socrates, he is one of the most influential Philosophers ever. It is debated often whether or not if Socrates was a real person or if he was a fictional character created by Plato to express his beliefs. I guess we will never know for sure.  But what is the soul nourished on, Socrates? asked Hippocrates  Teachings, I would say. Socrates replied. This quote is taken from Plato’s ‘Protagoras’. A great piece of work. We dissected it in class today. I suggest you read it. I really believe everyone should read at least one Plato dialogue in their life. They’re life changing.
